A Dweller of the Past

Oh, let me be just not a dweller of the past in sentimental folly for years done long ago For knowing that the tides for me, will one day cease and twilight sun illuminates the beaches of my life So easy has it come to feed this appetite forgetting worries of the day to smile on yesteryear The sweet, familiar chords of favored melodies offer comfort not reserved in present songs of age Yet, let me be just not a dweller of the past and find the joy in days ahead with gratitude and love

Time moves so quickly Mike and we're all guilty of looking back at happy times of years ago, sometimes its hard to let go. Hope you're well. Tom

Sweet plea, my friend, though the past is sure tempting sometimes, like when one is shoveling 40 inches of snow off of the sidewalk in Chicago in February! Hope the ice and snow are not too bothersome down in Miami! Happiness, Gershon
