What a dull world it would be without poets and poems, we give color and meaning to life hopefully for generations to come. Another gem of a Monoku from your golden pen David. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

For us in the soup Jennifer it would be a very bleak world without poetry, I do have real reservations about its future though, but hey I've been proved wrong before, never could build that damn time machine lol, cheers David

I found something! This is the best poem I read today, and It'd be a great discussion board topic. There are positive and destructive features about poets. The mental health of individuals and communities can be improved through poetry, both written and spoken. Non-poets can utilize poems to express themselves. Creative thought David, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your encouraging comment Lasaad, I was merely trying to point out, the creative nature of the poet, of course poems are meaningful and majestic, but It’s the poets ability to see beyond the plain, and use lateral thinking, that ultimately leads to new ideas and push innovation to better humanity, Topical indeed, cheers David

Thanks Gershon I think the poet has infinitely more to offer in real life, than the poem they write, cheers David

Very profound David and a monoku to ponder. It would actually make for a good blog theme. There are good and bad both. I think poems have proved to impact mental health wellbeing in a positive manner.. Poems can also help people find their voice.. I will say as well that I honestly don't think there is a need for a poet laurete but that's just my take on things. Cheers - Gary

A few different ways we can come at this one Gary, my intention here is, poetry and poems themselves, are relatively obscure to the majority of people in the modern era, but (poets) try see past the very fabric of nature and reality, and this insight can often enhance creativity, humanity, and invention, without writing many poems or indeed any at all, I hope the reader understands where I’m coming from, poet laureate now there’s a blog and a half cheers David
