To Never Close My Eyes Again
To never close my eyes again
Whispers call out
silent forests
of slumbering trees
wave weary branches
on the wind
Voiceless in the vast darkness,
still shadows dwell
midst motionless thoughts
gathering in a
blurred clearing
Where I seek you,
not in part, pieces
not in dreams
but complete before
my longing view
So that my visions
enchant beyond any imagination,
fading the whispers,
enacting this affection
held forever
To never close my eyes again
Good night Soupers
