To My Friend, Line Gauthier

Our dear friend, Line Gauthier, lost her precious husband, Dennis, on November 16. May her family and friends comfort her in this dark time, and may she know no more sorrow. We, her poetic friends who love her, can only console Line with our words from afar.

The end of a precious life a life dear to us, is a time for tears to flow from deep within, and thus We stumble forth on our way Blind to the promise of each new day Hope plunging down with setting sun ~ God's will be done

Thank you, Brandy... Line was my biggest supporter on the Soup when I started a little less than three years ago. She actually went through every one of my first 25 poems and left a nice comment on each one... And that's at a time where, you know, you might get a comment or two on your poems if you're lucky... At any rate, she really loved her husband and this is extra-hard for her. Thanks again. Light and Hope, Gershon
