To My Daughters 3 June 2014 3:34 Pm

I miss our daily trips to and from school Those were the times that I grew close to you I blessed you and sent you on you way And I prayed to God to Keep you safe through the day I miss the times when you looked up to me I was your playmate provider and protector, your daddy I held you in my arms when you cried I danced with you on my toes you would glide I kept you the best that I knew how But things all went wrong and I am separate from you now I miss the talks we used to have I miss the relationship that we had I still love you and I always will Your almost grown but your my little girls still I forgive you for the hurt you gave me I ask that you forgive the hurt that I gave you please Your mother and I could not get along We could not stay in tune with the same song I pray and hope with all of my heart That you two will cling to God and from Him never part For He is the true Father who never fails He sent His Son to save you from hell I am still here when you need and want me I wrote this poem so that you will see You are still my little girls Whom I love more than all the world I miss you Sarah and Victoria
