To live in the moment, one may say is easy to do
Not always, it may take some ongoing practice to try
The past can take over or worry about future days new
To focus on the moment now, helps us through
By living fully in this gift of time we have, going by
To live in the moment, one may say is easy to do
Most of all, just important stopping can be for you
To relax, breathe, to look, to take in what you see and why
The past can take over or worry about future days new
Let the silence be calming as well as the breathing too
We have this moment right now, with a choice to apply
To live in the moment, one may say is easy to do
It starts with a step of awareness and facing what is true
Then moving with the moments, precious gifts to untie
The past can take over or worry about future days new
This helps us have less regret, as the days can be few
We can make the best of today, with each blink of an eye
