I seek a heart to share my tears,
But knows the light that lives in laughter;
That shuns hopes lost to shame and fear,
To still dream dreams for ever after.
A heart that glows in its success,
When love is shared with pure emotion;
Without a need left to address,
Content, from a true pleasure of devotion.
For love with peace that seeks itself,
From pages of a life well written;
Just not a book left on a shelf,
But read from that, that all was given.
It is for me but to abide,
In trueness to a life so blest;
Nowhere else should this reside,
If not, pray found, within my breast.
