To Disagree
If we agree to disagree
Does that avoid a fight?
I do not see how that can be
If both of us are right.
At least, we both believe we are
So if that is the case,
We’d have to somehow drop the bar
Or someone loses face.
I guess when all is said and done
We’ll both still feel annoyed
That no one’s lost and no one’s won;
A truce is null and void.
