To Dad on his birthday
In distant land where seas kiss the silvery sand,
Memories wrought with colours fill my hand.
Birthday veil pulls tight across the miles,
Whilst shadows linger—echoes of a child's smiles.
Lost in the mists of time's relentless lure,
A tapestry of dreams woven delicate and pure.
Soft whispers of affection drift on gentle breeze,
Seeks solace in the unseen rustling of the trees.
Oh Dad, with gratitude this rouge roses I send,
Tied with a rainbow that will never end.
