To be touched by God
God’s within, hold His hand,
making gentle our touch,
slowing down flow of thought,
loosening strings of heart,
thus becoming self-taught.
God’s within, hold His hand
but before we do this,
let us first make heart still,
to receive His blessings,
that voids within may fill.
God’s within, hold His hand,
for just as we seek Him,
He too wants to embrace
us with each breath we take,
felt in our heart as grace.
God’s within, hold His hand,
that we in time know this:
we’re in truth living light,
crystallised in this form,
throbbing with bliss delight.
