William Shakespeare Quote: "Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born ...

You ask me how to become great? Allow me a moment to extrapolate. Eliminate the things in your life that are fake. What remains, your authentic self, Will guide you to be yourself, Which will reveal that you are great.

Be genuine and always stick on to truth. It is not quite easy as it sounds. But there is no other shortcut to becoming great. Greatness can be achieved only through the hard way. Beautifully and wisely put, dear friend Bill.

Oh, I just realized you hang out with Sara. Got it. My man only knows dirty rhymes, so he's not allowed to post anything, anywhere. You two have it going on! Poetry hugs ... CayCay

I have a great deal of those Limerick that pop into my head, but I have a filter now that helps me hold back on writing them down or posting them. LOL Again, not judgement on him or anyone else's choices on what they think or write down. LOL Hugs, Bill

You know I'm going to clap at this one being that the word 'authentic' brought you to my work. I fell in love with individuality / authentic doing a 10th grade report on Henry Thoreau, that love increased when I read Ann Rand's "Fountainhead' in the 11th grade and why other than nature, the one church "I Feel" is Unity. Raised Presbyterian. Great poem. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

I loved all of Ann Rand's books, but "Fountainhead was one of the most enjoyable reads for me. Won't argue that nature is a good step forward toward unity, CayCay. I was raised Baptist, been a preacher and youth minister, but am more open to other thoughts on spirituality than region allows. I'm now more spiritual than I am religious. I try not to judge those in my past, presence, or future. :-) Thanks for reading and commenting on my poetry. I enjoy reading your poetry very much. A poet friend in Texas, Bill
