To Be Free
There is a price for freedom...it has never been given for free.
There are many whom have fallen...on land and at sea.
Imagine their fear...imagine their pain.
They give up their freedom...with absolutely nothing to gain.
They don't make much money...they will never attain fame.
They get sent away from their families...while we stay home and play games.
We each live our lives...under the protection of uncle Sam.
There are those who take this for granted...and don't really give a tinker's damn.
I'm calling on you right now...I'm asking each one of you today.
Stop and think about what's been done...who actually paved our way.
What would this country be like...where on earth would we be?
Show some pride for this great nation...and what it costs to be free!
