Author's Notes: "TO BE, TO FEEL, TO LOVE, TO LIVE, TO DIE" is a Didactic verse poem that I completed on August 29, 2015. This poem is a self-reflective verse write. With it, I wanted to put certain principal feelings, thoughts, and emotions into more of a dynamic perspective from philosophical and metaphysical aspects, and from how each of these infinitive verb statements delve into a further reflection of our individual inner psyche and touch on our respective connections to the spiritual world and our greater cosmic existence and destiny. I really enjoyed this particular write. It afforded me the distinct opportunity to consider the importance of these select feelings, thoughts, and emotions since they are central to all of us as human beings, and do play such a demonstrative role in who and what we are in our earthly existence, and their ultimate impact on us as we move on from this life one day and our soul beings transcend this mortal coil and become one with the unending ethereal and cosmic dimension.
