To Appreciate Light

Do we really need darkness to appreciate light And see things done wrong to sense what is right Must we experience hunger to savor a full belly We need not a flower to know something's smelly We say upside down, but not 'downside up' Inside-out, not 'outside-in;' that's just made-up The down here below helps us view what's above There dwells no hatred -- just endless LOVE
