To-Do List
I make a list and check things off
As soon as they’re completed,
So everything’s accomplished
And there’s nothing that’s repeated.
There was a time when items
Would stay lodged inside my head
But as my brain cells disappear,
I write things down instead.
A pencil and a paper’s all
I need to stay on track.
Of the chores on the to-do list,
There will never be a lack.
