David, Mum, what time's tea ready
Mum, when I say so, why
David, can I play out 'til you shout me then
Mum, yes but don't go past the corner
David, I promise.
Mum, you better had I'll not come looking.
David, bye Mum.
It's a bit quiet, wonder where everyone is
I'm starving, wonder if tea's ready
I'll go and see.
Funny, this is a bit odd, where are all the cobbles gone?
Our gate has gone too, Mum will be so mad.
This is our house but it looks different somehow.
Mum, is tea ready, I'm starving.
MUM, where are you. This isn't funny.
MUM, Your scaring me now.
Bet she's gone to Aunty May's I'll go check.
Aunty May, is my Mum here, she isn't at home
Aunty May, can you hear me? Where's my Mum
Alan, it's time for tea.
Mum, there's a lad at the door asking for you.
Who is it, what does he want?
I think you'd better come Mum.
Right then lad , what d..! Oh My God!
Alan go get Minnie and run!
What's the matter Aunty May?
David is it really you?
Don't be daft Aunty May, 'course it is.
Do you know where my Mum is, I can't get in the house
The road looks funny. Who was that man, you called him Alan?
Oh, David lad, where have you been all this time?
Minnie, I'm glad your here. look!
Ee May love, this can't be right, is he real do you think?
Hold his hand , he's warm enough, he's real alright.
But how May after all this time,I'll go get Joe.
Well David, where did you get to?
I only played at the corner, but there was no one to play with
so I went home for my tea an' Mum wasn't there.
Sit down lad, Alan go get him a sandwich, he's hungry.
Who is that Alan Aunty May? where's your Alan?
You'd better tell him May, but he might not understand.
David, you went missing son, we all looked for you everywhere.
But I was only on the corner all the time, I promised Mum.
Aunty May.What year is this David?
Your messing about Aunty May , You know it's 1953,
we just had the big party for the Queen last week.
David, it is 1993. and you have been missing for 40 years today.
Where's my Mum please?
I'm sorry son but she passed away 3 years after you left, she was heartbroken.
But I didn't leave , I didn't go anywhere, you ask the man with the cane.
What man? The man near the blue light.
Come and show me where David, Alan go get help you know who.
That man over there by the blue light, you ask him Aunty May.
Mum? Where are you? I've called the police, they will be here soon.
Aunt Minnie, have you seen Mum and that lad? They seem to have disappeared.
