I love to watch the sun
when day is not quite done
and it starts to bleed red
where the clouds have been bled.
I smile, as its last light
blinks, then sinks out of sight.
I love all of the stars
and the red blush of Mars
the cool night winds that blow
and a full moon's soft glow.
Hung high in the night sky
a sign, that dusk is nigh.
I love the sound of rain
it’s like it feels my pain
and it cries just for me
so all the world can see.
Drop by drop, tear by tear
we've grown old year by year.
I love the times we knew,
to me, those years just flew.
