~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
in hushed tones, timeless dreams lure me
from shadows, swallowed up by grace
silence beckons, like a soft plea
from the story time can’t erase
poetry in gentle tears, breaths
illusion writing from a place,
where delusions fall to their deaths,
from the story time can’t erase
synthetic fears bleed past twilight,
our words start to follow, to chase,
this soft verse swirling through the night,
from the story time can’t erase
rhythms, rhymes emanate beneath stars
falling from dusk, dawn can’t replace
the music in the heart’s memoirs
from the story time can’t erase
fall’s rustic words in a blossom,
stained by hope within love’s embrace,
trembling prose, poems so awesome
from the story time can’t erase
