Time To Return
TIME TO RETURN
Many things made my world so beautiful,
some I saw, some I felt, many I couldn’t find,
but you’re the one who made my life’s urn full.
When I depart in your heart I’d leave it behind.
When in the depth of time in your emergent horizon
the golden sun would drape the dreaming dawn,
your mind would be colored in the hues of crimson.
On the wings of drifting cloud you’d see me return.
When the rays of sunburst would flush your meadow
the blushing blades of grass would get shine of the sun,
your heart would feel the rhythm of its pulsating glow.
In the glint of the diamond dew you’d see me return.
Under the sparkling sky of romantic regal blue night
in moonbeam flow the haze of time would have gone,
the stranded shadow I left would appear in your sight.
Configured in the silver stardust you’d see me return.
When the clouds in the distant horizon would gather,
into melting debris of gloom the sky would then turn.
Behind your vapor eyes you’d try and hold the tear.
In soothing drops of summer rain you’d see me return.
When you’d remember the beauty of life we’d shared,
time for you to muse on its rhyme would have begun.
In your heart’s lyric dormant emotions would get aired.
In embracing words of your poems you’d see me return.
