Time of Our Life

autumn rainstorm
the sound of freedom
the taste of youth

skipping classes
naughty and misbehaving
to tunes on the radio

safe in our own world
thought we had it all
we had each other

and our dreams
of time standing still

Love it. I skipped school when in high school. Went directly to the small pool hall in our very small town. Your poem brought back that day, that great youthful memory my dear friend! I truly thank you for that great gift, born from reading your fine and inspiring poem.. A fav..

I am picturing a young Line at about 16? Am I close? Merry Christmas my friend. Lovely sentiments in the form of a poem.
