Time Brings Understanding

The moment our world changes is when something breaks our heart, and our soul fills up with tears and feel our futures torn apart. Our minds are totally consumed so that we cannot be consoled, and we withdraw within ourselves to become a bitter stronghold. So as the days drift slowly by, the fortress that closed our mind, slowly crumble as the good times begin much easier to find. What is gone is gone forever; there’s no answer for demanding, and our grief may last forever, but time brings understanding.

I pray you are correct. Time at least has scabbed over and even healed a few wounds. Forgiveness helps them to disappear completely... I totally get the "sea of forgetfulness". I loved your words. They echo still in my head and heart. I love that the best. Well written my friend. Have the best of days. Ann
