Time

As I arose from sleep this Thursday morning, The theme of TIME is what my mind was embracing. TIME is neither anti-social or evasive nor a mystery, But it seems that she has a preference for history. She arrives with joy and loves to say hello, But will leave you weeping on a late-night pillow. She's mostly gracious and kind, offering clear blue skies; But she will often vanish, seldom saying goodbye. She will laugh and play for just a little while, But before you know it, she's yesterday's child. She meets and greets you with the feel of a holiday, But in your heart, you know she never comes to stay. She's not being rude, but she really cannot wait. No. TIME is no mystery. She simply quickly has her say. So, appreciate and hold her close and love her while you can. TIME, like some people, takes lots of tomorrows to understand.
