Sara, tiger lilies always find a way to survive, bravin' the approaching storm in fine 5-7-5. -Richard

Richard, They are amazing to me. I need to dig into that clump and transplant some of them to another location because it is a place where they get weighted down when it rains. They have really done well there the past two years and have grown in height and breath. Thanks for the visits to my page. Sara

Tom, The hurricane has already passed my area. I think it is around New York now. We only got some rain and some wind but not bad wind. There were some tornadoes from it but not near me. We are still getting rain but I don't think it is related to the storm. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Regina, One thing about the tiger lilies they stand the hand of time so far for me. I think they are a lovely species. We agree on one thing. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Heidi, The weather has passed and is in West Virginia I think anyway now. It brought a lot of rain and some wind when it came inland but it wasn't very bad here. We enjoyed the rain because it helps to keep the garden going without watering it. Thanks for your visit. Sara

- Mine has not bloomed yet - unfortunately the petals are not as strong as a tiger ... they do not tolerate much wind- A great haiku, Sara :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

Anne-Lise, Yes, the I have petals on the ground from the heavy rain of last night but they are still nice. We did not get a lot of wind which is a good thing. It was just enough to make things nice and breeze off and on. Thanks for the visit. Sara
