Notes About The Poem

Tick Tock

TICK TOCK

If tomorrow never comes what would you do then
If you were told this was your last day how would you want it to end?
If you had one hour, would you spend it alone?
Or would you open your door ??invite the world ??on your home ??

If you were told you to lose your voice
What would you want to say
What message would you like to speak
What would someone take away

If you were told you would lose your sight
What’s the Last thing you’d want to see
Angel, can I tell you one big secret
All of these are free

If you don’t use what you were given
Remember time will never stop ??
So use it well, and use it wisely
Nurture your dreams like crops

One day we’ll be just a memory
Did we leave our special mark behind?
Will others say we lived life well
And that we were finally masters of our mind

My angels, live life to the fullest
Don’t count your pennies, don’t count your days
Keep your head up as you go forward
And say goodbye to your mental maze

A very thoughtful poem, my favorite line is "nurture your dreams like crops" for such an imagining of blending idea with an image.
