Thus,The Poem I Bring

O, my heart is so full and I just want to write. I want to give expression to such beautiful sights. O, I need not be looking at just any one thing. My minds always cooking, thus, the poem I bring. O, the things I have seen, such as these be the sights. To things unseen I lean and the Spirit gives light. It matters not to me which it is that I write. The reader always sees expression at it’s height.

Ace, Your words in this poem are so right. I think a poem is much like a painting. The artist pours out his/her feelings on the canvas like the poet pours out his/her feelings on the page. Then, viewers and readers partake, feel, think, and see the expression from his/her own perspective. And are hopefully enlightened and inspired by the work. Very insightful poem. Lovingly, Dane Ann

When your mind cooks, Doug, you bring a bounty to the table for the reader. "Expression at its height" is a great way to describe your writing! Love, Carolyn
