Thunder Storm
Thunder Storm
Written: by Tom Wright

I awoke this morning to lightening strikes,
And listened intently to thunder’s sound;
Praying for safety and for God’s protection,
For somewhere they were striking ground.
It’s one o’clock and sleep has scampered,
Disrupted sleep makes a day appear long.
Thunder was so loud the bed was shaking,
God had me attentive to a firmament song.
