Three Wishes
THREE WISHES
I always long to contend
any hindrance, not to flee.
being ever strong not to bend.
not in dismay but in glee.
If forgiveness be weakness,
‘ll suppress my compassion
but wish just to be ruthless
in my approach and action.
If competent, wish to win.
My work, love and devotion
My inherent strength within
demands right recognition.
