Three Stages

There are three stages in life One full of energy,excitement and adventure Two in which we rely on others care In the beginning we are precious So new to the earth And by the time we get old We are ready for our rebirth Gentle child so eager to learn So much wisdom there is to earn Young adult to adult How many mistakes that we make But if we learn from them its best for all our sake Though growing old is a process Its an accomplishment to reach retirement years Experiencing many changes, challenges and tears Taking on all new fears Hopefully reaping the benefits that we sow And then passing on the knowledge of the world that we know- All from our three stages
