Thoughts On Putin's War

I cannot understand the free world allowing One man to create such an unthinkable tragedy While every country to this dictator is bowing I remind that we are not dealing with comedy! In all the world, someone must have the means To take out this despicable, narcissistic despot This madman bombing Ukraine to smithereens, Holding western nations hostage, have we forgot? Fearing he will escalate his war to nuclear force It is time to call his bluff, proving we are stronger, Demand he pull out completely with no recourse Or, he will be head of a modern nation no longer. Nations of the world can isolate his glorious Russia So conquering Ukraine, what is it he achieves? His nation a pariah, confine him to a Siberian dacha, As the western alliance is stronger than he believes.

Hello Milton ... history repeating itself as it has time and time again. Nobody wins war; ask the Russian families whose sons and daughters come home in body bags - thank you Milton - Lindsay

Putin has shown Xi Jinping how to conquer Taiwan under the nose of the USA, which supplied the Ukraine with vintage anti-aircraft, anti-missile, and anti-tank weapons which did not perform as hyped, but left the world - and Ukrainians feeling they were doing something to combat Beelzebub! Aloha!

Thanks, Caren. I wrote another one this morning. I simply don't understand how one man can hold a nation of people, even the world, hostage. It makes no sense to me. I'm not a violent person, but I could easily wipe this fool out.

The United nations should impose a no fly zone to stop this senseless slaughter of innocents, as for NATO worried about getting involved, we already are in supplying weapons. He'll never take Kyiv, he would have to kill everyone to achieve that. I think we should stand up to that bully with firmer responses. Tom

Tom, I understand; however, I'm not sure what a confrontation with Russia would lead to. We are dealing with a madman here. I don't think anyone wants a nuclear war, and that could happen with such a confrontation. I simply do not have the answer. I have to trust those who have far more information than I do. I certainly believe we need to take a firmer stance toward this bully. Generally, bullies back down when confronted directly. I think.

I stand beside you Milt in your very strong condemnation of this dictator, sociopath, and criminal! I don't believe that the Russian people who are against his aggression will allow him to keep on and succeed, but the Western Alliance must at this stage really unite and show more strength so he'll back down, otherwise he'll keep on going. This piece is a powerful message...ab

I really don't know what the answer is, Anselmo, but I do know we need to show more resolve and more strength. I don't want a nuclear war, but we didn't get nuclear war in 1960s when we stood up to Russia in Cuba. I believe we would be safe to call his bluff, especially now that he knows he does not have the backing of many of his own people.
