Thoughts About the Future

Thoughts About The Future Tom 2004 Age Causes the future to seem close at hand. And the older we become, the shorter the distance seems. We think of our future as always being far off, but in reality it is only tomorrow. Just as the Fox makes haste into its den, So too, the future scurries into that black hole known as the past. Man will never know what his future holds, or its length, But can know the hand in which it rests. Procrastination Is putting off until a future time, What you know should be done in the present. Your future will one day cease, but your past will exist forever.
