Thoughts

While watching the news on Television Little boys play soldiers. Soldiers fight for freedom Big boys playing a deadly game. He was a young American soldier, handsome smart, strong , caring and a wonderful lover. I was young and foolish, away from home. We fell in love in Vienna, Austria, in World War II. Now, there is another senseless war After many wars in-between. My heart goes out to every brave, American soldier, To all the starving, frightened children and all people in all countries. I look behind the mask of world leaders, Politicians, tycoons. Are they ignorant or naive? Do they tell lies, or do they not care. Do I see the faces of mother’s little boys? who never run out of excuses for wrong actions, some never grew up? There are men who try to make the world a better place for all, to live in dignity and peace Some have little power. The fear of loosing their job is stronger than honesty. A pity that only a few world-leaders possess the power to succeed in shaping the future of humanity and don’t know that they destroy the earth and the human race. All involved do blame their failure on a God of their choice, while the universal God looks with pain, love and mercy on His creation
