Digging deeper, the realisation is that God indwells all forms. When ego thins out and finally drops off, all that remains is Self, which is a God spark. There then remains no difference between our true Self and God, in as far as the essence is concerned. It is this God spark which is made in God’s image, as scriptures affirm ~ not decaying organic body-mind.
