Thou art like this O Life
Ever since wert thou named as grief O Life,
Heavy hast thou turned, light as leaf O Life.
Alive still, oh nigh painful do I feel,
My breath as if climbs a stiff cliff O Life.
So, thought of have I this remedial pill:
To give my life some life if brief O Life.
In this world, unfortunate seems just he
Who vies with thee with daily tiff O Life.
The long and short of life be this, O life,
As stiff guest ye get welcome brief O life.
