This old world

When this old world is troublin’ me And I can’t make sense of what I see I close my eyes and think again Of the wonders to behold with no need to pretend These times can make you sad When all you see is the bad But the world will still turn in its way And I’ll wake up to a bright new day These troubles will soon be memories To bring a tear to my eye in what will be So remember after each dark night There will be a morning sun in sparkling light. © Paul Warren Poetry
