This night so soft, like warm cashmere,
I touch your face; you are so near!
You kiss me sweetly; in my ear
you whisper words that are sincere.
I pray the moon won't disappear.
Please - Make this last forever, Dear!

Nice, romantic poetry! My mother once ran for office and lost. Politics can be a wicked and tough game. I collect postcards by the way and write a monthly column for Barr's Post News.
