This Day

Dear God

Today help me to be what You would have me be
Help me to put aside self and live for You
Help me to treat others as You would and not flee
God I plead, fill me with Your love through and through

Dear God

Help others to see You in me each day, and not an old
Old woman who is failing in all aspects of herself
Remake me; mould me so to draw others to your fold
Let them see You, Yourself and take Your Book from the shelf

Dear God

As I hear of all bad that is happening upon Your earth
Help me to seek out news of the good and do good
And Love each minute of giving having internal mirth
Thank You for listening, I know You have heard as You should, Selah
