This Autumn Day

Amber is this Autumn day,
Bedazzling me with beautiful brilliance.
Crisp is the breeze and colorful are the trees.
Dusk descends with its darkness.
Eventide has extinguished the day’s enticement and emptiness engulfs me.

Andrea, Let me say that I am sorry that your poem did not go on the winners' list..I have no idea why I did not place it there..It is a good poem and should have been there..Only one thing that I see wrong but that is not why it did not get on the list and that is you left out the r in breeze..I think when I was checking and rechecking that I just plain failed to click on the yes button..I can't go in and correct it now..Sara

This is a perfect Autumn day, filled with breezes and brilliance with colors everywhere! Unfortunately extinguished by the evening, and how the evening brings you emptiness is sad! I enjoy how the darkness brings the extremities of light throughout the area! It lets the pieces of light that exists to shine brilliantly when darkness comes! I try to find the positive in every event, if not the night would permanently put me into such a depression I'd never get out of! Great Work my friend!!
