Third World Countries

I'm sure this is going to stir a lot of controversy, but I'll never understand why any woman or man would pro create in a third world country. Why would anyone bring a child into such suffering and poverty? My advice to the men there, "Keep It In Your Pants!" and to the women, "Lock your knees!"

Easier said than done Bill, when the act of pro-creating is a natural, a normal part of being a human. A direct command from God. It would do good if people had educatio, (the key, I believe to most of the Third world's problems) disciplined and have the foresight that 1- 2 kids are easier to care for than 2+!! Thank you for reading and leaving your kind comments on my poem, my friend. Peace, audrey

well, you KNOW that will NEVER happen. Man is man, after all. haha Sadly, William, it's not a joke. Rape is rampant in some of these countries. Women in some tribes are being mutilated not to feel orgasms, and yet they will still have to bear children to satisfy the needs of their man. the world is fraught with many horrible things. I am sure after we die, we will finally understand the reason for it all! A good poem for expressing your opinion! Enjoyed your play on the word Bones! LUv, andrea

Overpopulation adds tremendous burdens to already struggling nations, Bill. Although this poem may "stir a lot of controversy," I do understand why you wrote it. I hate to see children born into poverty with little hope of having any quality of life. You speak your mind and I admire that, Bill. Love, Carolyn
