Third Eye of Wisdom
From toe to the base of spine,
from there to glow of the mind,
flickers of sensations flow,
millions of connections are made,
in life’s journey that the body takes.
each sensation has purpose of its own,
and creates urges that are unique,
in the plexus of the pelvic floor,
burn desires of reproductive fire,
that makes us fall in love to breed,
bring attachments of emotional need,
the plexus at centre of abdomen,
is the one that lights the hunger fire,
that makes us seek what we devour,
and means to earn our livelihood.
plexus in the middle of bony chest,
is the heart of our deepest desires,
emotions that create our urges
and often takes us off the right path.
seated high between the eye brows,
is conscience quietly ensconced,
that awaits to be awakened by our self,
because that is where we all belong!
In meditative pose when cross legged,
back straight and head held high,
move the fires from down below,
till they all merge in the third eye.
that is when wisdom conquers heart,
lust and hunger smothered to be calm,
the mind glows with truth therein,
and we become one with God!
