Things I Hate! But On the Other Hand,...

I hate the cold, but I love the fresh fallen snow. I hate busy signals, but guess what, I’M always on the phone. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke, but never think of that ‘til I take the last puff. I hate doing laundry, but the smell of clean clothes,.. I just can’t get enough. I hate traffic, but I always drive at peak hours. I hate getting in arguments, but I always loved receiving those “making up” flowers. I hate the first of the month, having those bills I must sit down and pay, but I certainly didn’t have a problem at the time I was running them up, I must say. I hate to go shopping for clothes, but always complain, I have nothing to wear. I guess the alternative is a nudist camp, but I don’t think I could ever go there. I hate driving in the rain, but sometimes the other choice is sitting home alone. I hate getting old, but I sure love thinking about all of the things I’ve done. These are a few of the things that I hate. I try not to think of them much. But the thing I hate most in life is death, and missing his sweet gentle touch.
