They'Re Plotting Against Him
They’re Plotting Against Him
By Elton Camp
Robert sees his colleagues conferring
Thus, it’s to him that they are referring
It fills him with the greatest alarm
For he’s being singled out for harm
He knows it is much more than a hunch
As he’s seen them poisoning his lunch
But it comes to him as no real surprise
He’s aware of government’s prying eyes
And the CIA has a great deal to gain
They beam messages into his brain
Voices Robert hears inside his head
Make him wish that he were dead
Of England he was supposed to be king
From this, such vile jealousy does spring
He’s convinced that these things are true
No matter what others may say or do
That he needs help, Robert doesn’t recognize
For all these matters are accurate in his eyes
Suicide may be the very best way
That’s what one voice does say
Robert’s a danger to self and others too
If you knew of it, what would you do?
If it’s no action you decide to take
It could be a life-threatening mistake
