We may ask: What science fiction movie foretells our present reality? Our current cadre of leaders seems cold and alien—not quite human. The most logical explanation indicates they came from outer space and will seize this opportunity to destroy us. The video clip goes back to a 1956 film, remade in 1976. While many here never saw either or both films, we're experiencing something similar, and it may be too late.

Trump slyly picked Fox eye catchers
His heinous doctrine dispatchers
That from seed pods hatched!
Are we now outmatched
Invaded by body snatchers?

I wouldn’t bet against ya! Though personally, I think if a species evolved enough to transverse the universe they would have evolved beyond a warring species and we would be considered highly underdeveloped; I think we’re quarantined. Love your poem. xomo

Maureen, It's a big universe out there, so who knows. The thing keeping us safe is the huge distance between worlds and despite what science fiction and TV depict, it's not simple getting here. I do think you're right--a traveler would want to bypass this place since it is too dangerous. Smiles!!

Jan thanks so much. It's incredible that what we have happening here seems so much like science fiction. Just goes to show how weird things have actually become. It's scary. Smiles at least while we still can.

Ahh, they are already here, we do think it, we also think that the leader of the invaders must be following orders , on goings with Russian invaders. We must find out the scientific formula to destroy them. Uproar may cause some waves, but some are wishing more than impeachment trials not looking pretty. We'll see by summer, Duke. Good one!

Arthur, I think I understand where you are coming from. However, I try to separate the actions of government from the country where people live. I do think the Israeli government is acting badly, and many of the people there are horrified at what their government has done. Several decades ago, it appeared as though the two sides might live in peace going forward despite all that had come before. Anyone can do a little research and try to understand why that did not happen. It's a study in hatred and using war as primary foreign policy and what happens when people don't understand compromise. Hard to fathom how this works out for innocent civilians. Hope you are well.

Lately, science fiction doesn't seem to be so scientifically farfetched. Nor does his plan to snatch countries or whatever he's after obtaining at his whim. I can't even roll my eyes at what's happening in DC.

Thanks Lin, the failure of our leaders (chosen for telegenic appearance and loyalty to Dick Tator, the potato head president) to show any empathy or independent thought leads me to believe they are programmed aliens of some kind. They are certainly not like most of the human beings I know and appear glazed over. I really suspect they're some kind of replacement beings. I think we should be very scared!!
