They Come and Go

He comes and goes
another trip
another assignment
another suitcase to pack, unpack
another sigh
another tear
another "Welcome home, my dear"
he comes and goes, comes and goes
and life for me just ebbs and flows

She comes and goes
another break
another holiday
another suitcase to pack, unpack
another sigh
another tear
another, "Welcome home, my dear"
She comes and goes, comes and goes
and life for me just ebbs and flows

They come an go, come and go
and I?
I stay....

I stay
with words I craft
I fly away
I come and go
I come and go
My dreams and thoughts
just ebb and flow

I stay...
and fly away....

Hubby just came back from a few days in Malta. He was attending a conference. Daughter travels back to Hungry on Monday...then hubby goes on another trip. I get lonely....very lonely, but.....I have a trip to Malta coming up soon. We are going to celebrate dad's 80th. :) I hope to see Charmaine and Paul....Thanks for the lovely post. I've been down the last few days. So much stress. Things are better...my semester grades are in....Now for a few days of break. Hugs
