there's something about your eyes,
they take off my disguise
and strip all my lies-
there's something about your hands,
they make me understand...
only you can be my man-
when we kiss,
undeniable bliss-
when it's you I miss,
I can not stand.
there's just something about you, love.
something my soul could never reveal-
when my heart was made of steel,
you came down from above,
gave me emotions, helped me heal-
I couldn't feel,
until you saved me like an ivory dove.
swept me up with those arms so strong,
with your strength I can't go wrong-
and all along,
there was something about you...
all these things are wholeheartedly true-
when I was blue,
you were white.
I never knew,
you'd make life right.
yeah, there's just something about you...
