There is this thirst, gnawing our soul
Flickers, our heart’s delight
Bliss suffused, we wish to feel whole
Equipoised, day and night
To see God face to face
Held in His warm embrace
As in-pours divine grace
Quenched by bliss burst
There is this thirst
