There is no one here, oh hermit Save boundless bliss delight Stance erect, we sight the summit Joyful each day and night All one; see through His eyes We are He, in disguise No one’s born, no one dies So spake the seer There is no one here 09-September-2021 Quietus

I'm aware of that sensibility and the culture (religious) from which it derives. I suspect that spiritual experiences are the same, even when we apply different social understandings to them or call them by different names.

From: "Whatever works for you", the line: " . . . the word is not the thing". For Christians, Jesus is referred to as: The Word of God. (In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with God and The Word was God). This refers to the creation where God speaks the material realm into existence, and that Jesus (The Living Word) is a material form, ‘manifest’, of that power. If Christianity had no spiritual component but relied only on traditional doctrines, it would have failed ages ago. I'm a Christian mystic. I experienced and know the Bliss of Comm•Union with God. "Whatever works" is also unacceptable to Christians who believe ~ "there is no other name under heaven given amongst men by which ye may be saved" and "I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but by me". ~ a clear claim of exclusivity.

Religion is a directional indicator addressing our mind. Spirituality, on the other hand, rests thought, imbibing wisdom offered by the universe, as a direct experience. https://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/whatever_works_for_you_1394787

In the first moments of my Christian "Spiritual Awakening" (birth), I realized my spirit and God's spirit were one - not improper then, at that moment, to call myself God and subsequently, be burned at the stake?

The simple truth is this: all that is, is God consciousness.
