There Are Some
There are some who see a challenge
And will always rise to meet it.
As each obstacle presents itself,
They’ll manage to defeat it.
Every day they’ll greet with confidence
That they will sail right through,
Both excited and delighted by
What next they will pursue.
Since intimidation doesn’t factor
Into their decisions,
They approach the road without the thought
Of potholes or collisions.
There are some who glide through life without
A haw, without a hem
And I guess you’ve figured out by now
That I’m not one of them.
