Their Circles

Running in the circles
Where I don’t belong
I should but don’t

I had a chance
But blew it
What went wrong

Obstacles in my path
Stopped me in my tracks
I hesitated

Way short
Of making the rank
I sat back

I ducked when
I could have
Should have jumped

Should have
Challenged myself
Went all the way

Could have
Been the best
I could have been

Unpredictable, impossible to guess, by remaining both of those things, 'circles' remain what they want to remain, CLOSED. That's okay.
