The Writer In Me Wants You To Know
The writer in me wants you to know
Your poems inspire me to be a better writer
Striving to write, as you do, meaningful rhymes
To find new ways to express the beauty around me
Expressing my thoughts in new and different ways
My ideas on what is happening in perilous times
Showing that I am truly a lover, not a fighter
With an objective not “to tell,” but “to show.”
