The Would Be Poet

THE WOULD BE POET I have; committed some crimes in my life But none worse than one gives me strife As to have the gall to call oneself, a poet With every line wrote, you clearly know it But: it is my sin and total guilty pleasure To yarn my words off to my full measure To be read upon and then fast forgotten As some daft nut, that is always popping But: it ails me, in some way, not to write & to end with another line of poetic S..te Indiana Shaw . . . *_*

I love this. Your words are magic and true. A wonderful combination. Merry Christmas my friend. God Bless. Ann

Ha, ha! Very clever, my friend. You can bask in this one's adulation! Season's best, Gershon
